The diploma includes two parts: basic 2-year training, relating to exploration techniques, the physical foundations, radiation dosimetry, radiobiological effects, radioanatomy, radioprotection, computer elements in medicine and reanimation elements in the face of a reaction to contrast media. The following 3 years are dedicated to the specific teaching of diagnosis in all medical specialities using different sources of imagery, including magnetic resonance imagery and its various applications, and interventional radiology. The course includes theory, multidisciplinary radioclinical staff, personal work and practical demonstrations in laboratories.
The theoretical classes and seminars are organised according to the regulations in force and include joint interuniversity courses.

- Being a doctor of Medicine qualified to practice in Belgium
- Being in possession of official evidence that you have succeded the selection test for access to the complementary Masters organised by the Ulg's Faculty of Medicine
