| Course contents : | 18 weeks of cattle farms visits whose 60h of supervised exercises. |

| Course objective : | To familiarize the intern with the functioning of dairy and beef cattle farms.
To familiarize the intern with the herd health management : production, reproduction and health.
Clinical examination of the herd.
Data collection and introduction in the software Gardian.
Audit of an cattle herd. |

| Prerequisites : | Veterinary medicine diploma |
 |
| Workshops : | Foot trimming.
Echography of the genital tract.
Using of the different scores : body condition score, rumen fill, feces, udder, legs etc. |

| Organization : | The intern takes part in the farms visits and in paraclinical activities every two weeks. |
 |

| Assessment : | Continuing evaluation throughout the year. |
