Course objective :  To sensibilize third doctorate students in veterinary medicine to their future role in veterinary public health.
Prerequisites :  General formation in veterinary medicine, immunology and pathology of viral, bacterial and parasitic diseases.

Organization :  · 5 hours course in lecture room.

· Interactive courses are widely illustrated by a computer-helped presentation.

· The teacher is available to answer questions at the end of the course.
Written notes :  Written notes are available at the « Office des Cours ».

Reference books: no book is recommended but the list of internet websites where useful information are available is in the written notes.
Assessment :  A written exam is organized. It consists in questions and sub-questions related to the course.
