Course contents :  This course is a complement to course TRAD0038-1, taught in the first term of the first year. It introduces the fields of finance and economy as well as legal translation, but still includes a necessary reflection on methods. Here too we can face many different situations and/or expectations, and thus have to adapt the way we proceed.
Course objective :  Develop students' translating skills.

Develop some awareness of economic mechanisms.
Prerequisites :  A good knowledge of the two languages and computer literacy.
Organization :  Second term in the second year of the Master's degree on Tuesday 4 to 6:30. See http://cipl82.philo.ulg.ac.be/horaires
Assessment :  Same kind of written exam as in the first year though obviously bearing on the kind of texts we translated during term-time.

The oral examination gives students the possibility to correct possible mistakes and is an opportunity for the teacher to explain how the translation process can be further improved.
