Course contents :  Students will get involved in research currently going on at the ISHS. In the course of this, they may be led into the study of texts, writing a questionnaire, making a list of interview questions, conducting interviews, making observations, or analyzing data.
Course objective :  Acquiring skills needed for carrying out research in the anthropology of development.
Prerequisites :  Have some notion of what anthropology is, and be really interested in research.
Organization :  Depending on the number of students, the seminar will be made up of working groups engaging in reflection, or of individual meetings with the teacher.
Assessment :  Grading depends on a final paper.
Contacts :  The teacher is available during office hours, Wednesday from 13h to 15h.
