Course contents :  Recent advances in technology and scientific knowledge are responsible for the occurence of specifications in patients reanimation care.
These particularities are also responsible for the developement of distinct intensive care units, dedicated to the care of selected patients according to adjusted modalities.

In this course, the student will approach the unique features of specialized advanced life support and reanimation.
Course objective :  The course ojective is the description of technologies, skills and care modalities in advanced life support:

- Cardiac (ACLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Coronary care
- Respiratory care
-Hepatho-splanchnic care
-Hematlology care
- Neurology care
-Trauma care (ATLS, Advanced Trauma Life Support)
- Pediatric (APLS, Advanced Pediatric Life Support)
- Burns
Prerequisites :  Knowledge of the Basic Life Support.
Organization :  Theory by 2 hours period courses.

Support: slides, clinical cases, videos.

Site: salle de colloque du Service des urgences, Niveau -1, CHU Sart Tilman, Liège.
Written notes :  A copy of the PPT slides will be distributed at the begining of the course for convenient notes acquisition.
Assessment :  Evaluation modalities will be discussed during the course.
