Course contents :  1. Definition

2. Perception: Perceptual organisation, perception of depth, perception of motion, pattern recognition.

3. Memory: basic processes, sensory stores, short-term memory and working memory, long-term memory (encoding, retrieval, and forgetting, recall and recognition, implicit and explicit memory, autobiographical memory), semantic memory and conceptual knowledge.

4. Reasoning and problem solving (including decision making)
Course objective :  Acquisition of basic knowledge about cognitive psychology
Prerequisites :  Introduction to psychological sciences (PSYC006-1)
