Course contents :

Introduction to radiology, nuclear magnetic resonance and nuclear medicine as well as to 2D and 3D tomography reconstruction techniques used by these medical imaging modalities.
Course objective :  
medical imaging

An overview of the physical foundations of radiography, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine.
Prerequisites :  
medical imaging

Courses "Experimental physics: waves and quanta, modern physics" (PHYS0061-1) and "Experimental bases of nuclear physics and radiations detection" (PHYS0253-1) of Bachelor in physical sciences or equivalent courses.
Workshops :

Five hours seminar dealing with 3D tomography.
