Master in Physical Sciences6
Holder(s) :  Hervé Caps, Nicolas Vandewalle
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  Table of content :

- zero gravity and microgravity
- physical phenomena in microgravity
- means for obtaining microgravity
- hypergravity
- designing an experiment
Course objective :  The lecture aims to allow student better understanding the scientific motivations about micogravity. The second objective is to design an original experiment. The opportunity to flight in the ESA Zero-G airbus will be envisaged. Visits to installations will be also organized.
Prerequisites :  The lecture about complex fluids.
Workshops :  - microgravity in fluids, Plateau's experiment

- free fall tower
- visit of ESA equipment in Bordeaux (airbus) or Bremen (drop tower)
Organization :  The lecture is organized at the first semester.
