Holder(s) :  Henri‑Pierre Garnir
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  We shall study the physical concepts, resulting from electromagnetism, quantum physics and relativity, which underlie the development of the GPS. Practical manipulations will highlight the properties of the system.
Course objective :  From the GPS observation, we shall deduce the physical concepts on which the system relies.
Prerequisites :  Course "Cold atoms and atomic clocks"
Workshops :  Practical use of the GPS and description of the limits of the system.
