Course contents :  Introduction to radiology and nuclear medicine as well as to 2D and 3D tomography used by these two medical imaging techniques.
Course objective :  An overview of the physical foundations of radiology and nuclear medicine.
Prerequisites :  Courses "Experimental physics: waves and quanta, modern physics" (PHYS0061-1) and "Experimental bases of nuclear physics and radiations detection" (PHYS0253-1) of Bachelor in physical sciences or equivalent courses.
Workshops :  Five hours seminar dealing with 3D tomography.
Written notes :  CD-Rom with lecture notes and slides will be made available.
