Course contents :  The course studies the properties and the applications of fast particles, like those produced by accelerators or hot sources.
Practical exercises will be realized around the IPNAS accelerators and installations.
A visit of large accelerators (CERN, FSE of Grenoble a.e.) is considered.
Course objective :  Familiarization of the students with physics around accelerators.
Prerequisites :  Bachelor degree in physics or equivalent.
Workshops :  Participations in some experiments of the IPNAS:
- beam-foil
- PIXE; PIGE, RBS
- TLA
Organization :  Introduction course and laboratories whose schedule is to be defined each year.
4 days of visits of sites (CERN, ESF...)
Assessment :  Presentation of a report on one of the laboratories.
