Course contents :  The course of General Physics II covers the following fields : electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, atomic physics, nuclear physics.
Course objective :  The goal of the course is to learn some new fundamental concepts, related to different Physics fields, and that are relevant for students in Biology and Geography.
Prerequisites :  General Physics I
Workshops :  Laboratory related to different parts of the course are organised (schedule communicated at the beginning of the academic year).
Organization :  The course is organised as follows :
First semester - Thursday 10:30 - 12:30 and Friday 8:30 - 10:30.

The schedule for the laboratories and exercices will be communicated at the beginning of the academic year.

"Physique pour les sciences de la vie et de la santé", by Joseph Kane et Morton Shernheim.
3rd edition revised by Ph. Ghosez, M. Hoebeke et G. Llabres.

Assessment :  The course ends in January. The exam will be made of 3 parts :
- oral exam : theory
- writing exam : exercices
- practical exam : laboratories
