Course contents :  Hellenistic an Roman Philosophy, until Plotin.
Course objective :  The aim of the course is to give the basic knowledge of both the particular concepts and way of thinking of the ancient philosophy, and the influence it had on the history of philosophy until now.
Prerequisites :  Reference is made to greek and latin notions but the knowledge of ancient languages is not required.

Written notes :  A collection of texts, documents and bibliography is furnished, but the notes taken by the students during the course are indispensable.
Assessment :  Oral examination in June, including a discussion about a written work to be delivered by the student in May.
