| Course contents : | The virology course will be divided into four chapters:
Chapter 1: Astrovirus & Calcivirus
Chapter 2: Bunyavirus
Chapter 3: The Ebola virus and the filovirus
Chapter 4: Arenavirus
Chapter 5. Immune system activation by viruses
The algology and mycology course introduces the methods based on the comparison of gene sequences used in systematics and ecology of algae and fungi, with the presentation of some applications. |

| Course objective : | The virology course will provide to the students supplementary informations on virology. It will also allow to the students to individually search for informations in the litterature and to present them orally.
The algology and mycology course should make students conscious of the possibilities, but also pitfalls of molecular methods more and more used in those matters. |

| Written notes : | No written notes. The students will receive reference articles, and photocopies of the slides shown during the course |

| Assessment : | For virology and algology and mycology. the examination will take place at the same time and in the same way than the first part of the course, For bacteriology il will be written, at the same time as that of algology and mycology. |
