Course contents :  Study of performance with regard to renewable energy in terms of the 3E's: Energy (yield from conversion, power), Economy (production costs per kWh, investment required for kWh...), Environment (impacts on life cycle)
1) Aeolian energy (performance and technology of various types of Aeolian equipment);
2) solar energy;
a) photovoltaic energy;
b) thermal energy (energy yield, power, size of installation ) ;
3) biomass;
4) hydraulics: waterfalls, pools, waves;
5) geothermal energy;
6) decarbonised hydrogen
Course objective :  Introduction to various types of conversion into electric power and/or into heat via renewable types of energy production using solar, hydroelectric, wind, geothermal.

Organization :  1/2 day classes a week at the 2nd semester
