Course contents :  Area of application for pneumatics. Production, distribution and handling of compressed air. Pneumatic components. Conception of pneumatic designs. Interference of pneumatics with mechanics, hydraulics, and electricity. Proportional pneumatics and servo-pneumatics. Area of application for hydraulics. Hydraulic fluids and their properties. Symbols used with, construction and characteristics of traditional, digital, proportional and servo-hydraulic hydraulic components.
Workshops :  Complex exercise: "Conception of a manipulating robot of the Pick and Place type by means of electro-pneumo-mechanical technique" or "Conception of the system for opening and closing doors and extending and retracting steps for railway passenger cars"
