Master in Mechanical Engineering, specialized approach, 2nd yearPremier quadrimestre5
Holder(s) :  Jean‑François Debongnie
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  This course is dedicated to form errors arising in machined works. Firstly, how to determine the actual shape of the part with the aid of a computer. Secondly, how to interpret this result in terms of the standard ISO measures of geometrical defects, and also some useful postprocessings.
Course objective :  Understanding that the machining processes necessarily induce form errors. How to predict such errors and finally, how to measure them in the frame of ISO standards.
Prerequisites :  General mechanics, manufacturing principles, machining methodology.
Workshops :  Working with Samcef for Machining
