| Course contents : | This course is dedicated to form errors arising in machined works. Firstly, how to determine the actual shape of the part with the aid of a computer. Secondly, how to interpret this result in terms of the standard ISO measures of geometrical defects, and also some useful postprocessings. |
| Course objective : | Understanding that the machining processes necessarily induce form errors. How to predict such errors and finally, how to measure them in the frame of ISO standards. |
| Prerequisites : | General mechanics, manufacturing principles, machining methodology. |
| Workshops : | Working with Samcef for Machining |
