Course contents :  Contents :

calculus (one variable) : integrals;

linear algebra: eigen values and eigen vectors, quadratic forms, diagonalization of symmetric matrices

calculus : more than one variable;

Application to management and econoic sciences.
Course objective :  Basic training in math. To be rigorous. Develop tools to understand statistics courses and models used in management and economic sciences.
Prerequisites :  Calculus (one variable, up to derivatives), basic linear algebra, matrices.
Workshops :  Exercises with small groups of students
Organization :  Lectures (ex-cathedra course)

Written notes :  Via LOLA (Learning on line access)
Assessment :  Written and oral exams (2 parts: at the end of each quarter)
