Course contents :  This year the course will concentrate on the relation between novels and philosophy, investigated in terms of Sartre's development. At the same time the course will also investigate novelistic temporality: the novels of Claude Simon in fact appear as the most appropriate works to allow us to raise questions about the connection between fiction and history, fiction and a-chronology, fiction as a locus for fixations involving melancholy, etc.
