Course contents :  This course is aimed to introduce students to dialectal variation. There will be two main parts:
- lectures explaining main concepts (dialectology and its object); introduction to Belgoroman dialects (Walloon, Picardy dialect, Lorraine and Champagne dialects); methodological introduction to transcription, linguistic survey and data analyses);
- personal work done by each student: he/she will have to introduce one of the ``spots'' of the survey and show what is interresting about it.
