Course contents :  The course presents advanced models of production management. It contains the following subjects: aggregate production planning models, lot-sizing models, hierarchical production planning models, Kanban policies, sequencing and scheduling problems.
Course objective :  C1. Deepen knowledge about the mathematical models of production management.

C1. Learn new models and techniques used to manage production and material flows.

P2. To be able to solve simple problems of production management.

P3. To be able to recognize the situations where the techniques of production management can be used as decision making tools and to interpret correctly the conclusions which can be derived using these techniques.

C4. To be able to make critical analysis if these different techniques.

C4. Understand the advantages and limitations of these kinds of approaches for real life applications.
Prerequisites :  LOGI0001: Supply Chain Management or equivalent
