Course contents :  The use of er and the difference between Dutch and Flemish.
Course objective :  A fair command of the language.
Prerequisites :  You must have obtained your BAC degree. No systematic mistakes in grammar and pronunciation are tolerated any longer.
Organization :  Duration and term : 30 hours (15 hours theory - 15 hours practice)

Teaching method :
Exercises on the use of er and correcting Flemish into Dutch.
Compulsory Reading: 20 p. in the Dutch magazine Elsevier or in the Flemish magazine Knack.
Advised reading: Dutch and Flemish newspapers.
Assessment :  Examination: January.
Written examination (translation French-Dutch, Dutch-French) and oral examination (feedback on the written examination, theory, analysis of one of the articles in Elsevier, including questions on vocabulary).
Test on Dutch phrases.
