| Course contents : | Study of the poetry of Paul van Ostaijen (1896-1928), the most important representative of expressionism in Dutch literature. |

| Course objective : | Introduction to modernism in Dutch literature in Belgium. |

| Prerequisites : | A good command of spoken and written Dutch. |

| Workshops : | Collective discussions of Van Ostaijen's poetry based upon individual presentations. |
