| Course contents : | Study of the work of Hugo Claus in as far as it deals with the Second World War. Outline of the historical context of the texts under study. |

| Course objective : | Introduction to the study of a body of literary work as the articulation of an historical epoch. |

| Prerequisites : | A good command of spoken and written Dutch. |
 |
| Workshops : | Collectives discussions of several texts by Claus following individual presentations. |

| Organization : | Duration and period: 30h of theory in the 2nd semester.
Site and schedule: A2 building, Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
