Course contents :  - Oral & written comments on texts dealing with current events (vocabulary expansion).
- Individual work : presentations & essays.
- Acquisition of the business language : intercultural negociation, management vocabulary.
Course objective :  - Discovering the various sectors of the economy in Portuguese.
- Doing business in Portuguese.
Prerequisites :  LANG 239 Portuguese ( 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year)
Workshops :  - Oral and written exercises. Active & direct learning of the everyday language using the LEM and the Laboratory.

- Translation & comprehension exercises using audio and video tapes.

- Sketches and oral presentations.
Organization :  Written & oral exercises, discussion based on news topics, presentations by students, listening comprehensions through videotapes, audio tapes & lectures, LEM. Marketing, stock exchange.
Written notes :  - Translation Dictionnary(Porto Editora ou Bertrand).

Assessment :  1st session assessment : students' work and presentation(s) (50%) ; oral examination in June (50%)
