Course contents :  General objective:

This course aims to improve the knowledge of the Japanese language and intercultural communication skills.

This cours aims to develop an open disposition towards cultural diversity as an important skill in the current globalising market place and society. Through reading and analysing articles related to current issues students learns different aspects of contemporary Japanese society.

Covered contents:

A syllabus containing a wide range of articles will be made available to the students
Course objective :  C1: Knowledgeand retainment of the content of the text

C2: Analysis, identification of the linkages between the different topics and issues

C3: Critical mindset
Prerequisites :  Japanese language: level 1, 2, 3
Workshops :  preparation of the text before class
Organization :  Adopted methodology:

A1: listening to the lecture, reading, study of the content and questions teacher-students et vice versa.

A3: presentation of the contents by the students (identification of links between concepts and issues)
