| Course contents : | Lessons are structured in modules with texts to be read (newspaper articles for instance), audio and video recordings, DVDs and grammar exercises. |

| Course objective : | - Further development of the main structures of Italian § of the everyday vocabulary.
- Further study of clause morphology § syntax
- Geographic § historical profile of contemporary Italy.
- Develop speaking skills. |

| Prerequisites : | Elementary morphology § syntactic structures. Basic vocabulary (about 2000 words). |

| Organization : | - Short texts about the everyday life in Italy, helping revise § improve structures acquired in the first year of study, and expand the basic vocabulary § morphology (irregular forms).
Intensive work on clause syntax.
