| Credits/ECTS : |
| Holder(s) : | Pascal Gribomont, Justus Piater, Marc Van Droogenbroeck |
| Language : | Langue française |
| Course contents : | This course is composed of two parts.
The first half, taught by Prof. Gribomont, presents an elementary introduction to artificial intelligence through logic programming.
The second half, taught by Prof. Piater (Prof. Van Droogenbroeck), gives an introduction to some important concepts of computer vision. These concepts are introduced within the context of a video-analysis system that the students develop alongside the course. |
| Prerequisites : | A course in programming (including recursion). |
| Workshops : | During the first half of the course, the students write Prolog programs.
During the second half of the course, the students implement a video-analysis system in Matlab/Simulink. |
