Course contents :

Critical study from the historical point of view of a great ancient historian or geographer of the Greek/Roman world (historical context, biography, works, heritage) with traduction and commentaries of excerpts.

Course objective :

Critical study of the sources available to the historian of antiquity

Prerequisites :

Elementary knowledge of ancient greek, latin and of the greco-roman history.
