Course objective :  Histology is a biological and medical discipline. Histology is sometimes called "microscopical anatomy" because it consists to study with a microscope the structures of the organs, the way of these structures are arranged and how they establish functional relations. The objectives of these lectures are to descibe cytological and histological characteristics of tissues and to establish relations with their function.
Prerequisites :
  • general biology
  • general biochemistry
  • general physiology
  • notions of anatomy
Workshops :  The objectives of practical lessons are to develop notions studied during theoretic lectures. They consist in demonstrations during which microscopic slides are analysed, figures are presented and annotated. Students can also oserve microscopic slides. Practical lessons take place in the rooms of practical lessons ,CHU, B23
Organization :  The lectures are given during the S3 for the students of the 2d year of bachelor in Physiotherapy and Readaptation (2h30 per week during 6 weeks).
