Course contents :  The theme of the course is Roman mosaic.
Course objective :  To acquire in-depth knowledge of the technical and iconographic evolution of one of the major Roman art forms, mosaic.
Prerequisites :  It is preferable to have taken the "History of Roman Art and Archaeology" course or to have some knowledge relating to Roman art and archaeology.
Workshops :  none
Organization :  30 hour ex cathedra course in the first semester. Course using PowerPoint and the occasional intervention of specialists in the field. The class will be on Thursdays, from 09:00 to 11:00, in S100.
Written notes :  No syllabus planned. The illustrations will be available on the internet.
Assessment :  Oral exam.
