First, we wil observe connections between historicals sources, history of art and archaeology. Afer that, material sources will be listed by nature of artefacts: earth, ceramic, wood construction, stone and metal. Some practical exercices will be organised, espacially on ceramic and building archaeology. Course objective :   The analysis of case studies in archaeology and building archaeology coming from North-West Europe help the student to learn and understand the medieval and postmedieval archaeological heritage.
