| Course contents : | The course consists of two parts. The first presents the analysis of aesthetic forms (texture, colour, contour, iconography). The second part is a "seminar" presented by the students, in which the methods discussed in part 1 are applied. |

| Course objective : | The course focuses on protohistory (Neolithic and Metal Ages). |
|
| Prerequisites : | None, but a minimum of knowledge in the sciences is helpful. |

| Organization : | Duration and period: 60 hours, 1st and 2ne terms.
Classroom and schedule: Auditorium A4/S100 (building A4), Monday, 4-6 pm, odd years only. |
|
| Written notes : | A bibliography of the major reference works is distributed at the beginning of the year. |
|
| Assessment : | Oral examination at the end of the year. Exam session in June. |
