| Course contents : | Subject of seminar:
This seminar will take place at a time when you are ready to apply the various skills and knowledge you have acquired during a real project that is of interest to you: a personal project (individual or group), participation in open competitions, projects proposed by the school, etc.
It aims to support entrepreneurial or managerial projects.
It establishes a link between your extra-curricular activities and your studies. It helps to make the most of the work done during your extra activities where the content justifies this.
Content taken into consideration: there is no pre-established content. You present your project to the supervisory team and together we will work out the terms and conditions for the work to be done.
Types of eligible projects (not an exhaustive list):
- Competitions: Start Academy, 123 go, Enterprize, Global Management, Brandstorm l'Oréal; (links to the websites can be found in lola)
- Personal business development projects (OIC included);
- Bids for projects such as FGF, Fondation Roi Baudouin, Fair Trade Center, etc.;
- Development of prototypes in collaboration with other institutions. |
 |
| Course objective : | At the end of this seminar, you will have created or at least be able to create a project that is real, multidisciplinary, applied and integrates different areas of management.
P5 Management of a project with a view to a clearly defined objective, in a given timescale, and carried out independently.
C4 In the case of entrepreneurial projects you must show the following qualities: development of your creativity, your critical approach to problems and your ability to make decisions.
Where projects are the result of teamwork, you must show the ability to manage a group and have an organised approach to work. E5 The ability to present and defend your ideas |
 |
| Organization : | This seminar is offered in the first and second years of the master's degree. It is only valid for one session.
Given the particular nature of this activity, there is no fixed time slot or planned classes.
You will present your project to the supervisory team who will decide if it is acceptable and define the terms with you.
The terms and conditions, to which you will commit yourself, will include: the different stages of the work, the possible formation of teams, the coaching methods and the expected results at each stage of the work.
These terms will also include the names of the people who are monitoring you, the proposed deadlines as well as the method of assessment. |
 |
| Assessment : | The assessment will involve: E5
continuous assessment (project management, respecting deadlines, quality of relations with the supervisory team, etc.);
and assessment of any work carried out and the final report. An oral defence of the work will be organised in front of the supervisory team.
The criteria for the assessment will be based on:
the relevance of the decisions;
the creative effort involved in the project to ensure its success; the ability to react and recover according to the circumstances and events to get the expected result;
the ability to convince a jury and defend your ideas. |
