Course contents :  Nature, origin and interpretation of deposits yielding or associated to archeological remains.
Course objective :  Basic knowledge on the deposits yielding archaeological remains for a better understanding in making excavations.
Prerequisites :  Basic knowledge in geology (course of geology for the 1 bac in geology or for biologists).
Workshops :  Practical works in natural geological sites and in archaeological excavations in order to study and to interprete the different kinds of sedimentary deposits.
