Course contents :  The lecture includes all aspects related to natural risks : hazards, vulnerability, disaster response, risk mitigation...

applied to earthquakes, mass movements, volcanic and hydro-meteorologic hazards,.. with focus on hazard couplingmechanisms.

Both scientific and socio-economic aspects are considered.
Course objective :  The goal is to understand the coupling between hazards as well as the link between hazard and risk.
Prerequisites :  none
Workshops :  Development and computation of (earthquake) risk scenarios
Organization :  8 lectures of 3h,

3 sessions of 3h of exercices (scenarios) and seminars

5 days in the Alps
Written notes :  PPT files and other documents
Assessment :  Oral Examination and Project presentation.
