Bachelor in geological sciences, 3rd yearPremier quadrimestre2
Holder(s) :  Jacqueline Vander Auwera
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  Following an introduction to the early differentiation of the Earth, the first part of the course is devoted to the tools of geochemistry (trace elements, isotopic geochemistry). In the second part, the successive parts of the Earth (core, mantle, continental and oceanic crusts, oceans) are successively studied using the informations and constraints provided by geochemistry.
Course objective :  The intent of this course is to introduce the students to geochemistry.
Prerequisites :  The course is based on basic principles of mineralogy as well as magmatic, metamorphic and sedimentary petrology.
