| Course contents : | general knowledge of main microfossil groups , modern analytical methods in micropaleontology, and illustration of their applications in paleobiology, paleoecology, paleogeography, paleoclimatology, paleooceanography, astrobiology, biostratigraphy and lithogenesis. |

| Workshops : | observation of different microfossil groups with microscope and binocular, redaction and oral presentation of a paper from scientific articles, and visit of palynology, thin section and electronic microscopy laboratories |
