Course contents :  Brittle structures: joints and faults. Ductile structures: cleavage, lineation, boudinage, shear zones and folds.
Course objective :  At the end of the course, the student must be capable of recognizing and interpreting tectonic structures, from microscope scale up to regional scale.
Prerequisites :  Course of general geology.
Assessment :  Written examination (one exercise) and oral examination (one theoretical question and determination of a tectonic structure from a rock sample or a photograph).
