Holder(s) :  Benjamin J. Dewals, Michel Pirotton
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  Following the general courses on applied hydraulics and environmental hydraulics given to civil engineering students, this course tackles advanced concepts of wave modelling of ruptured structures and hydrosedimentology. The cycle through which mankind uses the limited availability of hydric resources is also analysed.
Course objective :  The aim of this course is to allow students to specialise in the field of environmental management of hydraulic structures by exposing them to the latest research developments on the subject and inviting them to apply their skills to resolve practical case studies.
Prerequisites :  Applied hydraulics and environmental hydraulics course
Workshops :  Tutorial-based practical work will lead students to apply all their knowledge and skills in the field of surface drainage to resolve practical concrete problems.
Organization :  Lectures followed by tutorial-based practical sessions.
