| Course contents : | Study of some geotechnical structures used in environmental problems, understand interactions between environmental loading and geomechanics. |

| Course objective : | To understand geomechanics and coupling with unsaturated underground water flow, thermal, chemical fields. Design and analysis of geotechnical structures for waste storage. |

| Prerequisites : | Solid mechanics, basic geotechnics. |

| Workshops : | Project on design and dimensioning of geotechnical structures for waste confinement. Bibliography study on various environmental geotechnics problems. |
