Course contents :  This course introduces to political sciences and to political analysis of environmental questions.
1. Concepts : politics, policy and polity.
2. Life cycle of policies
3. Political actors in the environmental field
4. Environmental policies and their frames of reference
5. Environmental administration.
Course objective :  Understanding of some basic concepts in political science.
Scope and problems of environmental policies.
Political changes and challenges in environmental policies.
Prerequisites :  None
Workshops :  Reading of a paper.
Organization :  Two days each including a lecture and the discussion of a case study.
Written notes :  Syllabus.
Assessment :  Written examination: essay on a scientific paper.
