| Course contents : | This course includes an introduction to fundamental acoustics and a description of techniques used to control noise in the environment. |

| Course objective : | Fundamentals, noise measurements, psychoacoustics, evaluation of discomfort in noisy environments, noise regulations, sound absorption and isolation, noise barriers, noisemaps, traffic noise. |

| Workshops : | exercices to illustrate the theoretical contents of the course. |

| Organization : | 5 days (10 lessons of about 4h each) during the 1st semester, on the Campus of Arlon. |
