Course contents :  This course includes an introduction to fundamental acoustics and a description of techniques used to control noise in the environment.
Course objective :  Fundamentals, noise measurements, psychoacoustics, evaluation of discomfort in noisy environments, noise regulations, sound absorption and isolation, noise barriers, noisemaps, traffic noise.
Prerequisites :  no
Workshops :  exercices to illustrate the theoretical contents of the course.
Organization :  5 days (10 lessons of about 4h each) during the 1st semester, on the Campus of Arlon.
Written notes :  Ask the teacher.
Assessment :  Oral examination with exercises.
