Each part is organized in a similar way |

| Course objective : | Presents the main parameters to characterize waters, waste waters, solid wastes and air pollution. The meaning of those parameters and the way to measure them are presented. A special attention is given to sensors and on the appropriate way to use such sensors. |

| Prerequisites : | Basic levels in physics and chemistry |
|
| Workshops : | visits on the field and application of chemical sensors to liquid flowrate measurements |
|
| Organization : | Is given during the 1° semester. Lectures by 1/2 day modules. Practical training is given at the end. |
|
| Written notes : | Copies of the PowerPoint presentations.
The files are also available on the intranet for students. |
|
| Assessment : | Written examination
Practical training is also evaluated. |
