| Course contents : | Part on "teledetection": - Electromagnetic radiation, electromagnetic spectrum, interactions with the atmosphere, interactions radiation-target, characteristics of images - Receivers: spatial, spectral, radiometric and temporal resolution; geometric distortion; examples of land-based, aerial and spatial receivers - Analysis of images: visual interpretation, development of images (enhancement, transformations, classification, integration, etc.) - Applications to surveillance of an environment: agriculture, hydrology, geology, forestry, etc. Part on "Geographical Information Systems": - Basic Concepts - Main functionalities of a GIS - Models and Structures of databases - Representation of geographical data - Integration of spatial data - Analysis of data in vectorial and matricial modes - Spatial interpolation, aggregation, disaggregation |
