| Course contents : | Global environmental problems involve North South relationships. This course will develop this statement from different case studies that will be treated through a common framework. |

| Course objective : | 1. Characterise global environmental problems and their impact on development. 2. Idnetify challenges, actors and processes of environmental globalisation. 3. question and qualify sustainable devlopment. |

| Workshops : | Small groups of students will deal with oine specific theme on the basis of proposed papers and their own research. These works will be presented and discussed during the course. |

| Organization : | Day one The teacher will develop the concept on global environmental problem and will propose an analytical scheme. Students will make small groups and choose a theme.
Day two Presentation and discussion of two themes by the students.
Day Three part 1 Presentation and discussion of two themes by the students.
Day Three part 2 General discussion and conclusiosn by the teacher. |

| Written notes : | Portfoliuo will be distributes to students at the beginning. |

| Assessment : | Oral examination. The questions will concerne the personel understanding of the theme and the links with the other themes. |
