Course contents :  Global environmental problems involve North South relationships. This course will develop this statement from different case studies that will be treated through a common framework.
Course objective :  1. Characterise global environmental problems and their impact on development.
2. Idnetify challenges, actors and processes of environmental globalisation.
3. question and qualify sustainable devlopment.
Prerequisites :  None
Workshops :  Small groups of students will deal with oine specific theme on the basis of proposed papers and their own research. These works will be presented and discussed during the course.
Organization :  Day one
The teacher will develop the concept on global environmental problem and will propose an analytical scheme.
Students will make small groups and choose a theme.

Day two
Presentation and discussion of two themes by the students.

Day Three part 1
Presentation and discussion of two themes by the students.

Day Three part 2
General discussion and conclusiosn by the teacher.
Written notes :  Portfoliuo will be distributes to students at the beginning.
Assessment :  Oral examination.
The questions will concerne the personel understanding of the theme and the links with the other themes.
