Course contents :  Study of sound propagation and applications to electroacoustical transducers (microphones and loudspeakers).

Contents : propagation equation, plane waves, spherical and cylindrical waves, piston radiation, Kundt standing wave tube, equivalent acoustical, mechanical and electrical circuits, detailed study of microphones and loudspeakers based on their electroacoustical modelling.
Course objective :  Study of sound propagation and applications to electroacoustical transducers (microphones and loudspeakers).
Prerequisites :  Fundamentals of electrical circuits analysis
Mathematics : differential equations
Workshops :  Exercises
3 laboratory experiments .
Organization :  13 lessons, about 4h each, during the 2nd semester.
Written notes :  Available by the teacher
Assessment :  written examination
