| Course contents : | "Introduction to audio and video techniques" addresses the methods and techniques used in the recording and reproduction of audio and video signals. Contents : Fundamentals of acoustics, audio measurements, electroacoustic transducers, digital audio, video signals, optical recording (compact disc, DVD), virtual audio, audio and video compression (MPEG), laboratory exercises. |

+ laboratory sessions (organised for small groups of students) Presence at these laboratory sessions is mandatory. The laboratory sessions are organized only once per academic year. |
