| Course objective : | - Provide students with a rough idea of the Belgian health system structure - Starting from the specificities of the consumption of health resources, including medicines, to specify the objectives of health economy and pharmacoeconomy - Critically analyse the mechanisms and parameters influencing the growth of drug expenditures and the different means developed in most countries to contain it. - Teach the methodology of drug utilisation analysis and of pharmacoeconomy studies |
